Faith in the Lord02/26/2014 By Kristen Bannon first published on www.mompro.com
What a blessed week we’ve had!
Did you remember to do your homework? Last week you were going to work on MOVING and LIVING! Did you thank the Lord for His blessings and then act on them? Did you take steps forward in reaching your goals?
This week, we are working on Faith. One of the pastors at our local church, (Pastor Reno), talked about Faith this week. He said, “While you are trying to move forward you might come across problems. You may feel like you are losing your Faith. If you feel that way, you need to ask yourself, ‘What is my faith in? Is it in my circumstances or is my Faith in the Lord?’”
Remember that God is always Faithful!
Also remember, what I wrote about last week: Movement. God is looking for you to move before He acts. That movement is called Faith.
Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” Dr. Tony Evans puts it simply in saying, “Faith is acting like God knows what He is doing.” Do you believe that God wants what is best for you?
Do you have faith in the Lord? Because HE absolutely has faith in you! Your homework for this week: Have Faith in the Lord.
Next week: Wanting what the Lord wants (Obedience)!
